Al-Sadd Sports Club is a Qatari multi-sport club founded on October 21, 1969, and based in the Qatari capital, Doha. It competes in the Qatar Stars League, which is the top-tier league in Qatar. The club is named after the Al Sadd area, where its headquarters are located. Al-Sadd is one of the most successful clubs in Qatar’s history, having won numerous domestic championships. They have won the Sheikh Jassim Cup 14 times, the Qatar Cup (Emir of Qatar Cup) 6 times, the Prince’s Cup 16 times, the Qatar Stars League 4 times, the Qatar Stars Cup once, and the Qatar Crown Prince Cup 7 times.
