Ahmed bin Ali Stadium stands proudly in the Umm Al Afaai area, one of the oldest cities in Qatar and the home of Al Rayyan Sports Club. The city is located on the outskirts of the desert, where some of the most beautiful stories have unfolded, deeply ingrained in the hearts of the locals, who are known for their rich history and their love for football.

More than 80% of the construction materials for the original stadium, which previously occupied the site, were repurposed for this new stadium. The surrounding trees of the old stadium were carefully preserved. Visitors to this stadium can easily navigate through the new, eco-friendly Doha Metro system, enhancing their sustainable experience.

Following the tournament, the stadium became the headquarters for Al Rayyan Sports Club, with a capacity of approximately 45,032 people.
