Al-Arabi Club is a public sports institution that provides services in the field of sports, as well as in cultural and social areas. It is considered one of the oldest Qatari clubs with a broad fan base, and it is a prominent football club in Qatar. Al-Arabi Club ranks second among the teams with the most diverse titles at the local level. The club has won the Emir’s Cup 9 times, claimed the Qatar League title 7 times, and secured the Sheikh Jassim Cup 6 times. It also won one Crown Prince Cup. The establishment of Al-Arabi Club dates back to 1952, resulting from the merger of Al-Wahda Club, founded in 1952, and Al-Tahrir Club, founded in 1957.
