The Free Bus service in Qatar is divided into two categories: “MetroLink” and “MetroExpress.” MetroLink provides a free bus service to transport passengers to and from metro stations within the areas surrounding the stations, typically within a range of 2 to 5 kilometers from Doha Metro stations and strategic locations. On the other hand, MetroExpress is an on-demand bus service that transports passengers to and from metro and Lusail Tram stations. These buses can be requested through the Karwa Taxi app. This service is free for Doha Metro and Lusail Tram passengers and must be used in conjunction with metro or tram rides. Currently, MetroExpress covers 10 stations on the Doha Metro (6 on the Red Line, 2 on the Green Line, and 2 on the Gold Line) and 7 stations on the Lusail Tram.
