AlKhansa Public Library

Al Khansaa Library is the first women’s library in Qatar, established in 1981, and it is located on the Fourth Ring Road. It houses approximately 42,934 books in Arabic and around 5,091 books in English. The library aims to provide various information necessary to offer information and bibliographic services to the intellectual and studying community in the surrounding geographic area. The library also offers an external book lending service to its branch members and regularly organizes cultural activities and lectures during cultural events like World Book Day. Additionally, it welcomes school visits to introduce students to the library’s significance, how to use it, familiarize them with its contents, and show them how to benefit from it.
