Aljasrah Cultural Club was founded in 1960 as a sports club in Qatar. It later evolved into a cultural and social club in 1972. The club organizes cultural events that encompass various forms of culture and art, including book and novel discussion sessions, hosting poets, writers, artists, and painters, and has cultural publications such as the ” Aljasrah Cultural” magazine, which has been in circulation since 1998. Additionally, the club launched an art magazine called “Al-Tashkili Al-Arabi” in 2014, with 13 issues published. Furthermore, in 2016, the club introduced the “Al-Sinama’i” magazine, with 6 issues released. The club has also published a series called “Cultural Issues” that documents the club’s activities during the 1980s and 1990s.
