Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque is known as the Grand Mosque in Qatar; it’s the largest mosque in the country. It was inaugurated in 2011, located in the Legbilat area, in the Qatari capital, Doha. The mosque is distinguished by its famous domes, numbering 99, which hold religious significance as they represent the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah. Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque stands as one of the largest projects undertaken by the state and serves a great benefit to the community, both as a place of worship and learning. The mosque houses three libraries, separate prayer and ablution areas for men and women, dedicated rooms for the memorization of the Holy Quran, and can accommodate over 30,000 worshippers.
