Rumailah Hospital

Rumailah Hospital

Rumailah Hospital is the oldest healthcare facility in the State of Qatar, built in 1979 as a general hospital with a capacity of 130 beds, an emergency department, and outpatient clinics. Following the opening of Hamad General Hospital in 1982, Rumailah Hospital was transformed into a healthcare rehabilitation center for elderly and pediatric patients with disabilities. Due to the urgent need for renovating the hospital at that time, the management decided to adopt a ten-year plan to rebuild this healthcare facility in three phases. The renovation or reconstruction of Rumailah Hospital was completed in 1997, turning the old hospital into a modern medical facility with a capacity of 306 beds, characterized by spacious areas and a clean environment.
