Qatar Aeronautical Academy is a scientific institution in the State of Qatar, established in 1977 in Doha in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme. The name was changed from “Qatar Aeronautical College” in 2019 by a decision from the Diwan. The institution provides scientific services in the field of aviation, where it prepares pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, meteorologists, airport operations staff, security and immigration officers. The institution also offers short courses in a range of aviation-related specialties.
